We currently have two location you can train at: We have one location at Rad Range in Burlington, NC and another location with The Rock Gun and Accessories in Fayetteville, NC

Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm

All CBTA instructors are prior service members and NRA Certified instructors who strive to meet the Gold Standard of firearm instruction. It is our goal to ensure everyone in the Carolinas can obtain the highest level of technique and skill training.

Due to there being limited seating and our instructors having financial risk when they reserve venues, pay fees, order materials, and prepare for a class, our refund policies are as follows:

All Concealed Carry Handgun Classes :

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN for this class. If you need to reschedule, it must be done at least 5 days prior to your class date. This gives us time to fill your spot. If less than a 5 day notice is given you will be required to pay a rescheduling fee of $35. CANCELLATIONS MADE AFTER 24 HOURS prior to class will result in a NO SHOW and will not be eligible for reschedule without paying another full priced booking fee. If you need to reschedule it is your responsibility to contact us with the next class date you wish to be placed in. YOU WILL HAVE 4 WEEKS TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. You may only reschedule ONCE or another booking fee will be needed. We will not contact you to reschedule any appointments.

**There will be a $25 FEE If you lose your certificate and need a replacement.

HANDGUN SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS 1 and 2 Classes:

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.. Rescheduling will be allowed for the next available class only if the cancellation is made a minimum of 72 HOURS ahead of time. CANCELLATION LESS THAN 24 HOURS before class is considered a “NO SHOW" and will require another booking fee if you decide you want to reschedule. RESCHEDULING AFTER 3 DAYS BUT BEFORE 24 HOURS PRIOR TO CLASS WILL RESULT IN A $35 RE-BOOKING FEE. You will not be contacted to reschedule any appointments.

For the Shooting Fundamentals 2 class, if the proficiency test is failed, a refund will not be given but you are able to schedule for the next available Shooting Fundamentals 1 class at no additional charge.

Since this entire class time is held outside, inclement weather may cause for this class to be postponed to another day. If this occurs, we will contact everyone with the makeup date and those that are not able to make the new date may reschedule to another class.

PRIVATE GROUPS & ONE on ONE SESSIONS:

NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. If you need to reschedule, a 48 HOUR notice must be given. Cancellations less than 24 HOURS before your session will not be eligible for reschedule unless another booking fee is paid. YOU WILL HAVE 4 WEEKS TO BOOK YOUR RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT BEFORE ANOTHER BOOKING FEE IS REQUIRED. You will not be contacted to reschedule any appointment.

NRA BASICS OF PISTOL SHOOTING CLASS:

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN for this class. If you need to reschedule, it must be done at least 5 days prior to your class date. This gives us time to fill your spot. If you need to reschedule it is your responsibility to contact us with the next class date you wish to be placed in. YOU WILL HAVE 6 WEEKS TO BOOK YOUR RESCHEDULED CLASS BEFORE ANOTHER BOOKING FEE IS REQUIRED. We will not contact you to reschedule any appointments.

In the event of inclement weather, your class may be cancelled for the safety of all attendees. If this happens, a make-up date will be offered and for those that are not able to attend on that date will have 4 weeks to get in another available class. You will not be contacted about scheduling. If you try to schedule after your 4 weeks is up you will be required to pay a $35 rebooking fee.

Classes may also be subject to cancellation at anytime due to unforeseen circumstances. Once again students will be offered a makeup date and if that date doesn't work you, you will have 4 weeks to get back in a class. After 4 weeks you will be required to pay a $35 rebooking fee.

CBTA offers basics to all major firearm platforms (all that complete this course will receive an official NRA completion certificate, advance courses to all major platforms, as well as home defense courses, zeroing classes, Close Quarter Combat courses specific to civilians, law enforcement, and military applications, introduction to long range shooting, and North Carolina Certified Armed Security course.

We offer high quality men and women’s range apparel.

You should bring pen and paper for the in class aspect, of course! Also, at least 50 rounds of ammo for your range day.

All courses will be scheduled online. All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted.

There will be absolutely NO live ammo permitted in class. You may bring your unloaded firearm inside the classroom but all firearms will be subjected to full inspection. Each firearm must be cleared by two instructors, prior to entry. There are no exceptions to this rule for the safety of everyone on site.
